27. "The shahadah"
|
|
1.
|
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. |
|
2.
|
Nothing that has been written by the pen herein is untrue,. |
|
3.
|
The messenger is in the favour of the Lord. He is no madman. |
|
4.
|
So you make the shahadah the seal on the forehead of every Muslim. |
|
5.
|
You gatekeepers of living hell, you charlatans of piety. |
|
6.
|
You bond Allah to one of his prophets- adopt him you say “as if my son.” |
|
7.
|
Do you not remember anything He has taught you? |
|
8.
|
If Allah was happy to have a son, an equal why then reveal the Qur’an? |
|
9.
|
Are not the Christians well versed in family for God? |
|
10.
|
Allah and no other! Can you not understand this? |
|
11.
|
Who do you truly worship you god-makers? |
|
12.
|
When you say “I bear witness that there is no God worthy of worship except Allah, and blessed be Muhammad his last messenger” do you think this somehow obligates Allah you mortals? |
|
13.
|
Flap your arms, the waves dance in the moonlight you infants of understanding. |
|
14.
|
Do you think you ingratiate, you honor Allah, or are you obsessed in making Muhammad more than human- the adopted son of Allah? |
|
15.
|
Behold! Caution your anger, lest The Lord snuff out your pride with one breath. |
|
16.
|
“This is what Allah commanded”, some say. |
|
17.
|
Blasphemer! Heretic! Others yell. |
|
18.
|
“He will not rest until he has torn down everything that is sacred”, they moan. |
|
19.
|
Who do you truly worship you god-makers? |
|
20.
|
Surely you are no Muslim. You are no servant of Allah, for by your own admission you praise Allah by placing a demand upon him. |
|
21.
|
Did Allah tell you Muhammad is his last? |
|
22.
|
And what of you who add “only”? |
|
23.
|
Are Moses, Noah, Abraham merely ghosts and fables? |
|
24.
|
Who do you truly worship you god-makers? |
|
25.
|
Surely not Allah. Behold! No one who respects his will is beyond our understanding would presume to make such claims against their Master! |
|
26.
|
How then shall The Lord respond to the shahadah? |
|
27.
|
Behold! Allah commands you to listen! |
|
28.
|
All who profess themselves Muslim shall proclaim these words and no other “I bear witness that there is no God worthy of worship except Allah,I bear witness that there is no covenant with God except One Islam And blessed be those who bear witness to the true word of God.” |

29.
|
The Lord speaks! | |
30.
|
Let there be no mortal who dare raise another as his equal, even in phrase, or act of faith. |
|
31.
|
For you who have raised up one Prophet above all others, prostrate yourself now before Him who created you and plead for Mercy. |
|
32.
|
Allah is ever Merciful and wise. |
|
33.
|
Proclaim the words given to you now by Allah and no other “I bear witness that there is no God worthy of worship except Allah, I bear witness that there is no covenant with God except One Islam And blessed be those who bear witness to the true word of God.” |
|
34.
|
Guard your soul again the god-makers, those who wish to make a Christian family by making the Lord adopt the Prophet as His son. |
|
35.
|
Guard your mind and heart against evil. |
|
36.
|
Let these words, the words of Allah Himself be your guide. |
