| Self indulgence | ||
| 1. | Narrated by the humble servant of One Islam, whose name means al-Haqq from Allah’s Apostle in vision, saying: “All that a pure believer needs is within the True and Holy Qur’an. This is the first. Honor the sacred deed (constitution) of One Islam second. Respect these authentic Hadith of Allah's Apostle and no other is the third. Finally, honor all other sacred scripture that respects Allah as one who loves all life, peace and wisdom. Never raise false sayings and false scripture above these four things.” | |
| 2. | The Prophet said, “No vice is greater or less than another. All cloud the soul in darkness and take a man away from the sight of Allah.” |

| 3. | The Prophet said, “Do no indulge a person who blames the vice to pardon the man. The truth is reversed, the sin is in the mind addicted to self-indulgence, the vice is whatever was near.” |
|
| 4. | The Prophet said, “Addiction is a lack of moral self-restraint and not a sickness. It matters not what addiction is displayed, for all men who are without virtue may accumulate vices like a king and his robes.” |
|
| 5. | The Prophet said, “A person who shows a lack of self-restraint towards self-indulgences is a moral coward, nothing more. No one should take pity upon such weakness.” |
