100. "The Assaulters" |

1. |
Like riders on horses that run, with panting breath, | |
2. |
Striking sparks of fire | |
3. |
That purify themselves before battle at dawn, | |
4. |
Then, there, with their trail of dust, |
|
5. |
Attacking, as one, the centre of an enemy, |
|
6. |
Behold humanity sometimes is an ingrate unto their Lord |
|
7. |
And behold we are a witness unto that; |
|
8. |
And behold in the love of wealth a person may be as violent. |
|
9. |
Knowing a person is not that, when the contents of the graves are revealed |
|
10. |
And the secrets of one's heart are made known, |
|
11. |
On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. |
