86. "The Night-Comer" |
|
1. |
By the heaven and the Morning Star |
|
2. |
Ah, what will tell you what the Morning Star is! |
|
3. |
The piercing Star! | |
4. |
No human soul but has a greater guardian over it. |
|
5. |
So let man or woman forget from where they were truly created. |
|
6. |
They are created from a gushing stream of consciousness |
|
7. |
That issued from Allah to our physical creators. |
|
8. |
Behold! Our body shall decay but our mind does travel from this life to the next |
|
9. |
On the day of our passing when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. |
|
10. |
We shall have no greater ally nor helper than the Lord |
|
11. |
In all the heavens which gives the returning rain, |
|
12. |
And upon the earth which springs forth life of all kinds. |
|
13. |
Behold! This Qur'an is a conclusive word, |
|
14. |
It is no pleasantry. | |
15. |
Behold! They may plot a plot against you, O Messenger |
|
16. |
But the Lord has a far greater plan. |
|
17. |
So be at peace to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them at this time. |
