All people who have been invited to be members begin as guests- that is observers of their community of sponsored and elected, but without any rights of voting, or active participation. |
| |
Until a person has been voted to be accepted to be a member by two full members, they remain a guest, unless they are the children of an existing member or have been sponsored as one of the 144,000 by Allah. |
| |
A person may only be a guest for a maximum of 40 days whereupon a vote must be cast in their favour, or a call for a trial review at which the guest must be formally notified that a motion to deny membership has been lodged and the specific grounds of such a motion consistent with the constitution have been provided. |
| |
No person may be denied membership to One Islam without the right of being notified as to the reasons and the right to respond in their defence. Furthermore, by the constitution of One Islam, a person denied membership has the right to appeal to the highest officials of the organization for such a decision to be overturned. |
