Every member is sponsored by someone else and sponsors are responsible for those they introduce.  

What is a sponsor?

Because membership of One Islam is a such great and precious honor, a person cannot directly apply to become a member. Instead, a person may only become a member of One Islam upon being invited by an existing member to join.

Your sponsor therefore is the person who makes this first invitation to you. In the case of children of membership age, it is automatically their parent who is already a member.

This is process is called "sponsorship" and therefore all members have a sponsor to whom they have both an obligation and a relationship for the life of their membership. The rules of sponsorship are defined under Article 38 of the Holy Constitution of One-Islam.

Every member has a sponsor

Sponsorship is considered a duty of all full members of One Islam whereby they invite people worthy of the honor of membership to become members.

Bond of honor between sponsor and sponsored

There exists an oath of honor between a sponsor and those they sponsor to become members. A sponsor is responsible for the good conduct of those they sponsored to become members and sponsored members are responsible to their immediate sponsor to behave in good conduct and intention.

To encourage, to help protect, to support, to inspire. These are the goals of sponsorship and sponsors. To help grow the community of a united Islam through a genuine care and connection to those we introduce, to those relationships we help.

This is why all full members have right of access, contact and view of their community of sponsored through their secure membership access, so that they can maintain and strengthen the community they have helped inspire and grow.
