Spirit Membership of Islam |
|
| |
By the blessing of this Divine Covenant and Constitution, it shall be that departed spirits shall be permitted to be recognized as Spirit Members of One Islam. |
|
| |
These Spirit Members shall be considered equal in status to Living Members, having the right to have their vote reflected in official elections as well as being nominated and appointed to certain official types of Office including, bot not limited to: Great and Holy Spirit, Saint and/or Ascended Master. |

Registration of Spirit Members |
|
| |
By this Constitution, a Spirit Member is only legitimately a Member when they have been properly registered according to this Articles of the Holy Constitution. |
|
| |
A Spirit Member is officially registered when all of the following criteria have been met: |
|
| |
(i) They are not currented registered as a Member of One Faith; and |
|
| |
(ii) They are officially departed and no longer in unique human form; and |
|
| |
(iii) A Memorial has been commissioned for them by a Living Member having an authorised relationship according to this Article of the Constitution; and |
|
| |
(iv) A financial payment has been received and processed for the commissioned and Registered Memorial |
|
| |
(v) A request has been made to register the same departed spirit as a Spirit Member; and |
|
| |
(vi) An official acceptance has been received with the unique Membership number of the Registered Spirit Member. |

| 40.3 |
Automatic change from living member to spiritual member upon death |
|
| |
Upon death, a living member of One Islam shall automatically be honored by being recognized as a spiritual member of One Islam having the same Membership number and respected rights. |
|
| 40.4 |
Registration of honored ancestors as Members of One-Islam |
|
| |
By the authority of this Constitution, a living Member of One Islam shall be permitted to register individual memorial recordings of up to 144 departed ancestors to a maximum of four previous generations (Great Grandparents). |
|
| |
When a valid memorial record has been lodged, a Member may apply for that departed spirit to be sponsored and recognized as a Member of One Islam. |
|
| |
Upon approval, that ancestor shall be recognized as being sponsored by that Member and be associated with that Member. |
|
| 40.5 |
Official Titles of Spirit Members |
|
| |
Spirit Members may be honored by being nominated and selected by Living Members to hold certain official and honorary titles. These titles not only carry great respect and honor, but determine whether a Spirit member is elegible for certain official positions exclusively available to Spirit members within the organization of One Islam. |
|
| |
A Spirit Member having been nominated at the date of foundation for acceptance of Living Members, shall be considered to hold the Official Titles as listed; |
|
| |
Any Spirit Member having been nominated by a Local Assembly and receiving (a) at least 72 unique and valid votes from Living Members prior to Independence; or (b) at least 144 unique and valid votes from Living Members after Independence; shall be bestowed the title of Ascended Master; |
|
| |
Any Spirit Member currently holding the Official Title of an Ascended Master having been nominated by a Regional Council and receiving(a) at least 7,200 unique and valid votes from Living Members within the Region prior to Independence; or (b) at least 14,400 unique and valid votes from Living Members within the Region after Independence; shall be bestowed the title of Saint; |

Any Spirit Member currently holding the Official Title of Saint having been nominated by a National Senate and receiving(a) at least 720,000 unique and valid votes from Living Members within the Nation prior to Independence; or (b) at least 1,400,000 unique and valid votes from Living Members within the Nation after Independence; shall be bestowed the title of Great and Holy Spirit; |

The Official Title of Supreme Patron is not subject to vote or election and is a perpetual honorary position bestowed in perpetuity. |

| 40.6 |
Official Positions of Spirit Members |
|
| |
Upon qualifying under certain Official Title, certain Spirit Members may be nominated and elected to represent both One Islam and a united Heaven during elections of the Great Conclave. |
|
| |
In the case of all Ascended Master Spirit Members one hundred and forty four (144,000) positions shall be elected by the Living Members of One Islam. |
|
| |
In the case of all Saint Spirit Members forty eight thousand (48,000) positions shall be elected by the Living Members of One Islam. |
|
| |
In the case of all Great and Holy Spirit Members, three positions shall be elected by the Living Members of One Islam. |
|
| 40.7 |
Representative Vote of Spirit Members |
|
| |
Spiritual Members shall be recognized as having a valid vote concerning the future election of officials and direction of One Islam through the good guidance of their living relatives as Living Members of One Islam. |
|
| |
In all elections, Living Members of One Islam shall be granted the power to vote collectively on behalf of their departed ancestors with each ancestor having a valid vote. |
|
| |
When a living Member casts a vote in favour of a candidate, the same vote shall always without exception be cast in the same way for each of their ancestors listed as valid spiritual Members of One Islam. |

| 40.8 |
Supreme Rpresentative Vote of Official Spirit Members |
|
| |
All votes of Official Spirit Members holding the positions of Great and Holy Spirit Members and above shall be bestowed as the honor of the Imam Mahdi. |
|
| |
In addition, the vote of any Saint not attached as a primary relative to a Living member either by direct entry or inheritence shall also be bestowed in honor to the Office of Imam Mahdi. |
|
| |
These votes are not transferrable, nor may the legitimacy of these Spirit Members be disputed, temporarily or permanently disqualified. |
|
| 40.9 |
Common ancestors and disputed ownership |
|
| |
Excluding a Bequest of Ancestor Lines, Where two living Members hold the same departed ancestor as belonging to their sponsorship, all disputes shall be resolved by the following manner. |
|
| |
(i) Closest living relative |
|
| |
In matters of dispute, the closest living relative shall take precedence; |
|
| |
(ii) By the male family line to relative |
|
| |
In matters of dispute, the male line of family members shall take precedence over female; |
|
| |
(iii) By the first born family line to relative |
|
| |
In matters of dispute, the eldest or first born line of family members shall take precedence over younger lines; |
|
| |
(iv) By the eldest making the claim |
|
| |
In matters of dispute, where (i), (ii) and (iii) are identical, it shall be the eldest making the claim that takes precedence. |

| 40.10 |
Transfer of ownership of ancestor record |
|
| |
In the case of a dispute, once the right has been established, the transfer of ownership of such records and rights shall be transferred to the proper party to a maximum of 144 records of ancestors if no records were directly inhereted. |
|
| 40.11 |
Inheretence of Ownership - Bequest of Ancestor Lines |
|
| |
A living Member of One-Islam may bequest their ownership of ancestor records to a living blood heir. Upon their death, those records shall be passed to their living blood heir plus their former living record now automatically as a spiritual member record providing they are a valid living Member of One Islam. |
|
| |
No dispute for Ownership may re-allocate such records where records of ancestors are Bequested. |
|
| |
In such cases of inhereted records, no limit is set to the maximum number of ancestral records. However, if the total number of ancestral records owned by a living member exceeds 144, they are not permitted to enter any new memorials. |
|
| 40.12 |
Fraudulent ancestral records an expellable offence |
|
| |
The creation of fraudulent ancestral records is a serious and expellable offence. Where a Member is found to have created false records concerning departed ancestors, they may face immediate expulsion. |
|
| 40.13 |
Temporary expulsion of ancestral spiritual members with living member |
|
| |
Where a Member commits such a serious offence as to be expelled from One Islam, they shall not only disgrace their own name, the name of Islam, but the very name of any ancestors listed and linked to their membership. |
|
| |
For by this Constitution it shall always hold that all ancestral spiritual members linked with a living Member shall also be expelled from One Islam for the same period as the former living Member. |
|
| |
While such action may appear unfair in regards to the spiritual ancestors of a living person it is beholden to all departed souls to watch over and guide their living relatives. |
|
| |
Similarly, it is beholden to the living to honor their ancestors. This is a sacred bond which cannot be ignored when a living person disgraces the departed. |
|
